Shorah{Hello},
I'll try to be as brief as I can about this whole discovery, since it is indeed complex.
I came to the hidden underground realm of D'ni a few years ago, searching for more answers; wanting to know more. Like countless others have done, I journeyed down from the surface to the ancient "uru"; the "deep city" of D'ni. I had entered by way of the Cleft. Eventually, I began to meet others, and we explored deeper truths and new Ages. We followed her, the Desert Bird, and we learned much.
I remember seeing the Arch of Kerath the first time I came down to the city; amazing without question. There were many places and Ages one could go then - with the help of a very important group of people, an enormous Cavern community had flourished, and D'ni was being slowly restored.
D'ni is full of mysteries, many of them lost in time altogether and many found. New explorations began all over the Cavern and the Ages; D'ni began to yield up its treasures, for the gathered had come, answering the call of the Desert Bird to restore-to return.
There were divisions, and new paths were made. The Least unleashed; freed from their ancient bonds. Our Exodus from the City. I hope your still following me.....
I have gained wisdom here. I have fled from D'ni in terror, but I have returned; I belong here - it must be that I was meant to be here. Either by the Maker or by the roll, I have come here once more. Now it has begun again, more people are returning to this place they seemingly once knew. I have partners in the quest now, and my colleagues and I have learned much. Even now, when we had thought we had gleaned most of what we could from D'ni, new paths appear; new branches form. The Tree grows - more knowledge is revealed.
During our research, the team and I have stumbled upon a place that was unknown to D'ni, a secluded area far out in the Cavern where we found the journals and Books of three D'ni people. These works have shown us many things; things that coincide with D'ni and things that contradict D'ni. With the three now long passed, I hold these Books, along with several other books of equal or greater importance. From what they have shown us we have gained much knowledge; the one thing these people wanted most was for their stories to be preserved. They wanted their work to go on; wanted someone to find out what happened.
One of the Books I have is amazing. I have seen several like it since i first came here, but this one is special. It was discovered on the initial expedition into another Age. A "kormahn" or Descriptive Book of brilliant craftsmanship; containing a solid link to an Age known as "the Maker's Age" or, Eder Bahrehltahn as it was called by the D'ni people who migrated there just before the Fall.
I'll continue research along with the rest of the team, until we have a stable grasp on Eder Bahrehltahn and its people, and the numerous Ages that are connected to their histories. We have plans to share this Journey very soon with the community, and we are learning more of what we have found each day.
There are many paths here in D'ni we have not discovered, and I am sure that in time we will uncover more. I share this intriguing new path we have found, knowing that others will help.
